We have catered a host of launches and openings across the North East of England, including the grand House of Fraser opening at the MetroCentre, as well as the unveiling of the latest models of Bentley and Infiniti cars. On each occasion, we prepared and served up a range of exquisite finger food that contributed to the sophisticated ambience of the evening, our trademark flavours leaving a lasting impression on guests across Tyneside and beyond.

Choose from a wide variety of delectable morsels, from staples like wild mushroom and cognac vol-au-vents to clever twists on traditional favourites, such as miniature Yorkshire Puddings with rare fillets of Northumberland beef, and a scaled down version of fish and chips, battered in Cullercoats ale tempura and served in dainty cones. We also feature an extensive list of sweet canapés, the raspberry and limoncello trifles and our very own Epicurus dipped strawberries just two of the favourites.

Most exciting of all is our special Tastes of the North East range. Each canapé is made by chefs from the region, using only the finest local produce available. Our heritage potatoes hail from Tiptoe, Northumberland; our cheeses come from the best dairy producers in the county; the seafood is caught just minutes away from Epicurus Towers off the North Shields coast, and our succulent meats are sourced from two of the region’s finest butchers. We are immensely proud of the range, showcasing the very best of what the North East’s producers have to offer.

Our hot canapés are prepared by our highly trained chefs, who can cook up the appetisers on site via our own mobile kitchen – all we require from you is a small room with access to power and water, and Epicurus takes care of the rest. We can also supply cold canapés, conveniently ready share with guests on attractive plates and platters.
